Water Hydro

Description

Hydro Tasmania Fisher Flume is part of the water transfer system for the Fisher Power Station as part of the larger Mersey – Forth Hydro Development in Tasmania. Water from Lake Mackenzie flows via flumes, canals, tunnels and pipes to the Fisher Power Station. The water has a vertical drop of 650 metres from the Lake to Fisher Power Station, then runs into Lake Parangana. This part of the scheme was completed in 1973.

Description

Huon Aquaculture value added Seafood Processing Facility underwent a massive upgrade of their facility. The full construction brief includes building a new processing facility whilst upgrading the existing process facility. Penetron Admix was used in all concrete supplied to form the basis of all of the salmon tanks.

A new larger wine making facility was constructed to replace the old and declining facility. Penetron Admix in conjunction with Peneseal FH-PS was used to strengthen and protect the concrete against chemical ingress and deterioration.
